Sometimes luck does a bit of the planning for you. Through someone we knew, I got the chance to photograph a Porsche 992 Turbo S with a tiny 1:64 Mini GT model. That combination already sounded good in my head, and in real life it was even better.

The Turbo S has this strange effect where it looks clean and classy at first, then completely ridiculous once you remember how fast it actually is. I tried to capture that contrast in the photos, using the little model to echo the real car without losing the scale of the moment.

Then came the bonus round. After the photos, I was allowed to come along for a ride. That turned a cool shoot into one of those car moments that stays in your head for a long time. The sound, the speed, the feeling of being in something seriously special.
