Backstory

I’m Koen, a 15-year-old Porsche enthusiast from the Netherlands with a passion for both real Porsches and Porsche scale models.

MiniFlatSix is about Porsche scale model photography: matching 1:1 cars with 1:64 and 1:43 miniatures, and capturing the details that make a Porsche feel alive.

Over the years I’ve built a collection of more than 300 die-cast models in 1:64 and 1:43 scale, from brands like Minichamps, Spark, Kyosho, MiniGT, Tarmac Works, Brumm, and Sparky. I’m also a proud member of NAMAC, the Dutch association for model car collectors.

Miniflatsix is where my two passions meet: Porsche photography and scale model collecting. I photograph both real Porsches and their miniature versions, often bringing my models to Porsche events so I can pair them with the full-size cars. From a classic 911 Carrera to a Porsche 911 GT3 or an all-electric Taycan, I look for the perfect combination of light, angle, and detail.

My goal is simple: to capture the Porsche design and spirit at every scale. Whether I’m using a professional camera or my phone, I focus on precision, atmosphere, and the unique details that make every Porsche special.

I share my work on Instagram, here on miniflatsix.com, and at Porsche and automotive events. I’m always expanding my photo collection and my line-up of scale models, and I enjoy sharing them with other Porsche enthusiasts and model car collectors. Whether online or in person, I’m always looking for the next Porsche to photograph-full-size or in miniature.
