Thirty-one built, all of them racers. The Porsche 934 Turbo RSR at Mechatronik in Pleidelsheim, photographed during a short stop that left a long impression. The full series is live on miniflatsix.com.

The last car with 911 in its name to win Le Mans outright. The Porsche 911 GT1, photographed in the workshop of the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. The full series is live on miniflatsix.com.

The car Gijs van Lennep drove to overall victory at Le Mans in 1971, photographed in the workshop of the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart. Next to it: my exact scale model of the same car. Some circles take years to close. The full series is live on miniflatsix.com. #porschemoment

SOS 901. A call sign that meant one thing on Belgian motorways in the 1970s and 1980s: a Porsche 911 was on the way, and whatever you were doing, you were about to have a conversation about it. The Rijkswacht ran 911s for highway patrol duty from the late 1960s onwards, and the sight of one in full gendarmerie livery remains one of the most distinctive images in Porsche history.
This example was photographed inside the Frans van Haren collection at Metropole Druten. White bodywork, red and blue striping, period correct lettering, and the soft museum light that gave every detail room to breathe.
For the scale pairing, @minichamps_official delivered a faithful rendition that captures the proportions and the colour separation remarkably well. @metropole.nl @minichampsofficial
The full series is now live on miniflatsix.com.
Hint of what’s coming next on the feed but now on miniflatsix.com a silver 356 with skis strapped to the back, photographed downstairs in the same Metropole Druten collection. Less highway patrol, more alpine getaway. A very different mood from the same building.

GT Silver and every bit of the curated drama that the Heritage Design Package was built to deliver. The 991 Speedster Heritage Edition was launched in 2018 to mark 70 years of Porsche, and it takes an already special car and turns it into something more ceremonial. A tribute within a tribute, with the 4.0 litre naturally aspirated flat six and six speed manual gearbox keeping the recipe properly analogue underneath.
This example was photographed in the Speedster section organised by Jacob Achenbach and the @991.speedster.registry at Dinslaken, slotted in among the standard 991 Speedsters and quietly stealing the show.
For the scale pairing, @sparkmodel_official stepped in with a 1:43 rendition. The white accents and silver bodywork translate beautifully, and the slightly larger scale brought out the finer details of the Heritage spec particularly well.

Low screen, double bubble, and a 4.0 litre flat six breathing freely behind the seats. The 991 Speedster is Porsche’s modern tribute to a silhouette that goes all the way back to the 356, and seeing several of them lined up at Dinslaken made that lineage feel very tangible.
The Speedster section was organised by Jacob Achenbach and the @991.speedster.registry and @992st.registry , and it delivered a line-up that any Porsche photographer would dream of. Different colours, different moods, the same iconic shape.
For the scale pairings, both @sparkmodel_official came along. Two takes on the same modern classic, each with its own character.

Silver, serene, and quietly confident. The Porsche 356 C closed the chapter on the original 356 lineage in 1965, and this example from the Frans van Haren collection at Metropole Druten shows exactly why the shape has aged so well. Soft museum light, gentle curves, and a presence that fills the room without ever raising its voice.
For the scale pairing, both @minichampsofficial and @kyosho_official_minicar_toys lined up next to the full-size car in a single composition. Two interpretations of the same icon, sharing the frame, each with its own character.
The full series is now live on miniflatsix.com, the first of several shoots coming out of our visit to Metropole Druten. @metropoledruten @metropole.nl
Quick heads-up: a new series has just landed on the site as well. The 991 Speedster, photographed at the Speedster Registry section in Dinslaken. The modern descendant of the very shape you see here. Worth a look while you’re there.👀 @991.speedster.registry
