On the way to our holiday, we stopped at Porsche Zentrum Leipzig for coffee at the Carrera Café. It turned out to be much more than a coffee stop. Sitting there, surrounded by Porsche design, I suddenly knew it: Signal Yellow had to become the signature color of this website. Some places just give you a feeling that sticks.

There was also one of my dream cars on display, the Carrera RS 2.7. I bought a small 1:64 Hot Wheels in that color, even though Hot Wheels usually do not make it into my collection, plus a beautiful 1:43 Macan that became part of a full photo series. Another highlight was the 935 Clubsport. I photographed it with both a 1:43 Minichamps and a 1:64 Minichamps, and the floor lines inside the center made the shots even better.

Sometimes a stop along the road turns into something bigger. Leipzig gave me dream cars, a new series, and even the color idea behind MiniFlatSix.
