Porsche Centrum Gelderland does it again. The Collectors Day at Porsche Heteren is one of those events that feels like it was made for people like me, and every time I go, it somehow gets better.
This time I had my own stand, which already felt special. But what made it even more memorable was my neighbour: someone who builds incredible Lego Porsche models. We ended up talking for ages, and his work was genuinely impressive. It brought a whole different crowd to our little corner of the event.
I also went home with two new models, because of course I did.
The real highlight, though, was the photography. I put together two series on the spot: one with a Porsche Taycan, one with a classic 930 Turbo GT. And for the first time, I shot alongside a beautiful Lego model instead of my usual 1:64 scale cars. It gave both series a completely different energy, a bit unexpected, a bit playful, and honestly one of my favourite shoots in a while.
These photos are staying in the Journal rather than a full Gallery series, but they absolutely belong here. Some moments are just worth writing down.
A huge thanks to Porsche Centrum Gelderland for organising this every year. Events like this are why the Porsche community feels so alive.
