Porsche does something to people. Some of you have one in the garage. I don’t. I have a camera, a growing collection of Porsche scale models, and a stubborn love for details that most people never notice.
Welcome to MiniFlatSix, a Porsche photography project from the Netherlands. This is Porsche photography with a twist: I shoot Porsche scale models as if they were full size cars, and whenever possible I match them with the real 1:1 Porsche that inspired them. Same silhouette, same stance, same character, scaled down to 1:64 and 1:43. Every photo series is built around one simple idea: a miniature can carry the same presence as the real thing when the light, textures, reflections and setting are right.
My approach is slow and deliberate. I look for warm light, real surfaces, believable shadows, and backgrounds that feel like the world these cars belong in. Sometimes that means photographing at Porsche meets, events, and museum visits. Sometimes it means quiet street scenes, garages, and simple backdrops where the lines of a 911 do the talking. The goal is always the same: clean Porsche photos that respect the design, whether the subject is a scale model or a real car.
You’ll find Porsche photography across generations: classic Porsche, modern GT cars, racing icons, and the endless variations of Porsche 911 photography. On the scale side, you’ll see models from Mini GT, Kyosho, Spark, Minichamps, Tarmac Works, Schuco, Brumm and Solido, and more. I care about accuracy, but I care even more about atmosphere. A great Porsche photograph is not only about sharpness, it’s about mood, proportion and story.
Browse the site by tags to explore by scale, brand, model, color, or generation. Dive into complete photo series instead of single images, because the sequence is part of the storytelling. MiniFlatSix is for Porsche lovers who enjoy looking, and for collectors who want inspiration for display and curation.
I also work with model shops, collectors, and manufacturers who want their Porsche scale models photographed like they are the real thing. If you have a model you want featured, or a real Porsche that deserves a matched shoot with its miniature twin, get in touch. I’ll bring the camera. You bring the Porsche, or the tiny version of it.
